Reputation helps a business owner reply to their Google reviews. To do that we need a small amount of information about you and about the reviews people leave you. This page says exactly what we hold, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it. If anything here is unclear, email us and ask.

Who we are

Reputation is operated by [LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS]. You can reach us at [EMAIL] for anything on this page, including deleting your data.

What we collect

Your account. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and the account identifier Google gives us. We use these to sign you in and to know which business is yours. We never see or store your Google password.

Your business details. The business name, sign-off, and reply style you enter yourself.

Your Google reviews. Once you connect your Google Business Profile, we receive the reviews left on it — the rating, the text, the date, and the reviewer's display name as Google publishes it. We use them only to draft replies for you.

The replies. Both the reply we draft and the version you approve. We keep both so we can learn how you prefer to sound.

About the people who leave reviews

Reviews are written by your customers, not by you, and they never signed up with us. We think that deserves saying plainly.

We only ever receive reviews that are already published publicly on your Google Business Profile. We do not collect anything else about the person who wrote one, we do not try to identify them, and we do not build any profile of them. Their words are used for one purpose: drafting a reply for you to consider.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of established companies to run the service. They only receive what they need to do their part:

Anthropic— writes the draft replies. The review text and your business name, sign-off and reply style are sent to their API for that purpose. Anthropic's commercial terms state that data sent through their API is not used to train their models.

Google — provides sign-in and, once you connect it, your Business Profile reviews.

Neon stores the database and Vercel runs the application.

We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and nobody else receives it. If that ever changes we will tell you before it does, not afterwards.

Nothing is published without you

We never post anything to your Google Business Profile that you have not read and approved. That is a rule the product is built around, not a setting.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you have an account. If you ask us to delete it, we remove your account, your business details, the reviews we hold for you, and every draft and approved reply. That removal is permanent and we cannot undo it.

Backups roll off within 30 days. Deleting your data here has no effect on the reviews themselves, which live on Google.

Your choices

You can see and change your business details at any time inside the app. You can disconnect your Google account, and you can ask us to delete everything by emailing [EMAIL]. We will confirm once it is done.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to ask for a copy of what we hold, to have it corrected, or to object to how we use it. Email the same address and we will help.

Security

Connections are encrypted, access tokens are encrypted before they are stored, and only the account owner can see their own reviews and replies. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects your information, we will tell you.

Children

Reputation is a tool for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will email you.
